The book is an engaging short memoir and while reading I felt like I was listening to a friend who was pouring her heart out to me. The book contains raw emotions that can be easily felt and I could empathize with the author. Through her story, we see how in love, we can ignore multiple red flags and choose to stay in a toxic relationship that is sooner or later bound to fall apart.
