With our cold Canadian winter ending, I needed to take my sons and myself on a nice fun little weekend getaway at a beautiful resort in the middle of the wilderness!
The Resort, Spa & Conference Centre proposes nature adventures, complete relaxation, and culinary bliss.
With over 3,000 square kilometres of boreal forest at its doorstep and bordering the National Park, The Resort offers over hundreds of kilometres of hiking and cross-country ski trails.
The boys and I spent two nights and three days swimming up a storm and plunging into this amazing pool!
I’ll admit… I ran across these lily pads as well, once…I had to try it!
It really was so much fun trying to make it across without falling in the water!
The food was incredible at the resort restaurant here!
I ordered the same supper two nights in a row because… that’s how good this specific dish was! Chicken Oscar –>hollandaise sauce smothered over chicken with shrimp mmmm mmm mmmmmmm! With a Caribbean paralyzer cocktail to top it off! So tasty!
